INVENTORY OF RIDO IN THE FIVE PROVINCES OF ARMM.

The RRUC will be conducted inventory in the five provinces of ARMM The identified cases of dispute (rido) shall be serve as our basis fro formulation of our plans and approaches in the settlement of rido cases in the ARMM. According to Alexander Chio Mabinay, Information Officer of Regional Reconciliation and Unification Commission - Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (RRUC-ARMM) The objective of this rido inventory within the five provinces of ARMM will serve as a guide to all commissioners in terms of settling the said rido cases within their area of responsibilities.

PEACE CONSULTATION

From various sectors supporting the first ARMM PEACE SUMMIT, everything is all set for the launching of the said event in Marawi City that will be attended by the stakeholders including the top officials of ARMM and the MNLF and MILF.
The main objective of this peace summit is to bid for more active role in the development and peace-building in the 5 provinces of ARMM (Maguindana0, Lanao, Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi)

Separate versions of such multi-sector consultations will immediately follow in Maguindanao,Sulu,Basilan and Tawi-Tawi.. After those series of consultation the two-day regional consultation is set to wrap-up the said event.

Acting Regional Governor Honorable Ansaruddin ALonto Adiong is the chairman of the Peace Summit Steering Committee aims to change the previous “passive” stance of the past ARMM leaders with regards to the implementation of the 1996 Final Peace Agreement between the3 government and the MNLF.

The inputs from the series of provincial consultation will be used as basis for the formulation of the ARMM Peace and Development and Policy Agenda.

TAWI-TAWI UPDATE

Commissioner Ahmadsali Badron of the Regional Reconciliation and Unification Commission based in Taw-Tawi.
Is closely monitoring the conflict between Omar Isnani vs Hassan Sabandal since the family of Omar Isnani refused to the settlement offered by the family of Hassan Sabandal.

SULU UPDATE

The Regional Reconciliation and Unification Commission is now monitoring the 3 high profile rido in the province (Commander Rendiyong Masillam vs Anton Burahan / Maldis a Family vs Tan family / Boclad family vs Arbison family).

According to the Commissioner of Regional Reconciliation and Unification Commission (RRUC-ARMM) Mukattil Adjail, those identified high profile rido needs further attention to all concerned sectors in order to restore peace and order.

2 CONFLICTS SETTLED IN LANAO DEL SUR

Conflict between Abdulmalik Buloto and Fahad Buloto both from Tubok, Malabang, Lanao del Sur comes to an end when the Regional Reconciliation and Unification Commission, Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur, PCE, PUC and PAC and Assemblyman Alex Menor settled the said conflict. The resident of Tubok were all very happy that their place will be united again.

NEGOTIATION FOR THE RELEASE OF NORALDEN P. YUSOPH

Noralden Pangcoga Yusoph was the son of Commission on Election(COMELEC) Commissioner Hon. Elias R. Yusoph was abducted last June 20, 2010 .

The Regional Reconciliation and Unification Commission-Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (RRUC-ARMM) Commissioner Solaiman Casan together with PUC,PEC, PAC are appealing to the kidnappers to release Noralden Yusoph as soon as possible.

Noralden Yusoph was released by the kidnappers on July 20, 2010 at Cagayan de oro City.

HADJIALI new RRUC-ARMM Chairman

The administration of Hon. Ansaruddin “Hooky” Adiong appointed Mr. Diamael H.Hadjiali as the Chairman of Regional Reconciliation and Unification Commission, he was a hardworking former ABC and veteran when it comes to conflict resolution in his native land.
